Since it's establishment in 2000, WECO has remained a leading designer and manufacturer of elevator door sensors, with thousands of satisfied customers around the world.

As a constantly evolving global organization employing over 330 dedicated professionals today, WECO has its headquarters in China (Ningbo near Shanghai) with well-grounded operations in Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States making its products available to customers in over 100 different countries.

As a technology and design owner, the company strives to consistently improve in-company processes to market best-in-class products. The continuous focus on achieving multifaceted improvement has positively impacted product quality, safety, reliability and production lead times resulting in exceptional customer value.

WECO’s in-house R+D follows best practice methods and is consistently working to ensure that our products comply with industry recognized standards. Our Multi Beam Sensors, for instance, are certified by both CE (Europe) and CSA (North America).

WECO INDIA was founded in 2008 to effectively service its rapidly growing domestic customer base. Over the years, it has successfully added a number of new product lines including Load weighers, Cross flow fans, Axial fan, Limit switch and Guide shoes; all with dedicated technical support.

In line with its Strategic Business Plan, today the company has several locations serving customers across the country with the Chennai facility functioning as it’s Service and Supply Centre.
